Biography
Vocal Sumi got music heredity from her father Amjad Hosen was a dedicated baul singer & Radio Bangladesh artist. She first proved her merit at 12 years of age winning 3rd position in national school music competition in Polli Geeti (folk) category and received an award from Prime Minister Sheik Hasina. She won first position five times in a row at Khulna division school music competition (1993 - 1996 & in 2001). Received B&H Star Search best solo performer award in 2003. As a prestigious Coke Studio singer she reached 20 million views with the song Pagol.
